CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) - The Theatre Cedar Rapids building has stood along 1st avenue in downtown since 1928, the interior will soon be made more resilient as fundraising continues for a major renovation project.
The venue hosts dozens of shows every year, often leaving little room for rehearsals or educational programs like summer camps. Many of those renovations are in the building’s upper floors and are meant to help the group make the most out of the space.
